Cody Rhodes gives WWE permission to use Dusty’s name for tag tournament

Cody Rhodes noted on Twitter that he has given permission to WWE to use his father’s name for the upcoming Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament which will air on NXT. “I literally just gave them rights to use my dad’s name for their tag tournie,” Rhodes wrote in a reply to someone on Twitter. 1/17/20 Smackdown Viewership

Smackdown did a total of 2,580,000 viewers last night, off hours 2,616,000 in the first hour and 2,544,000 in the second hour. That was 78,000 viewers up from last week’s broadcast. Smackdown beat every show in the 18-49 demo, helped by repeats airing on CBS which is usually the main competition. Cody appeared on Busted Open Radio late last week and discussed AEW Dynamite getting an early four-year renewal from TNT.
