WWE issued a video counting down the Top 10 moments of SmackDown for 2018, and Daniel Bryan was awarded the most memorable moment of the year on the Blue Brand. WWE picked Bryan’s inspirational “Fight for your dreams and they will fight for you” speech as he cleared all of the medical hurdles to resume his in-ring career when it looked like he was finished wrestling for good.
WWE also included the moment when Bryan hugged it out with his former Team Hell No partner Kane in the top 10. The unveiling of “The New” Daniel Bryan turning heel and hitting AJ Styles with a low blow to win the WWE Championship also made the list, as well as the return of Bryan’s wife, Brie Bella, who took the assault to The Miz and Maryse during the Bryan-Miz feud.
Other noteworthy moments included rough times for Charlotte Flair as Carmella cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase to win the SmackDown’s Women’s Championship and then champion Becky Lynch destroying The Queen made the cut. You can watch the video of the entire list below:
