Rumors on Two New Hall of Fame Inductees, Chyna’s Mom on HOF

WWE is hosting their Hall of Fame ceremony during the weekend of WrestleMania 35 this year. As usual, a handful of names will be inducted into the HOF this year. Among the names confirmed for this year’s class include the members of D-Generation X and The Honky Tonk Man. Meanwhile, The Hart Foundation, the late Bam Bam Bigelow, and Tazz are just some of the names who are rumored to be inducted into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame this year. There will be at least two more names joining the class of 2019 according to a tweet posted recently by WrestleVotes. Get ready to see Torrie Wilson and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake attend the Hall of Fame ceremony in New York City later on this year.
Brutus Beefcake and Torrie Wilson are two names that a fair number of WWE fans will recognize. Beefcake competed under several monikers during his career, but he is perhaps most well known for taking on the “barber” gimmick during his run in the WWF. Wilson also competed in both WWE and WCW during her in-ring career. Although Wilson’s days in the ring are largely behind her now, she has become reaffiliated with WWE over the years. She returned to action during the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble match and in a battle royal during the Evolution pay-per-view in October as well. These two names and a couple others should be announced for the Hall of Fame within the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 35.

D-Generation X will take their place in the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Fans are looking forward to seeing Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac enter the Hall of Fame, but Chyna’s inclusion has garnered the most attention from fans. Also interested in her HOF induction is the late wrestler’s mother. People interviewed the former Intercontinental Champion’s mother, Janet LaQue, and asked her about her daughter finally entering the Hall of Fame this year. Despite the issues that they had over the years, LaQue said that she is proud of her daughter and believes that she absolutely deserves the honor. LaQue even says that she would like to accept on behalf of Chyna if the company allows her to.
“I love her. I will always love her, and I hope to God that the day that she’s inducted and I can accept for her… that she will look down on me and say, ‘Mom, I’m happy for you to accept this for me.’ That’s what I hope.” LaQue said.
