Johnson was seen bleeding from his right ear while walking off the field in the third quarter of Thursday’s game at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Johnson remained on the ground for a few minutes after the hit before being helped off the field. He was later carted to the locker room.

Randall was ejected for the hit.

Bleeding from the ear is associated with concussions, and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin confirmed after the game that Johnson did, in fact, suffer a concussion.

Earlier in the game, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster took two helmet-to-helmet hits on one play and suffered a concussion, forcing him out of the game.

Cleveland defensive backs Greedy Williams and Morgan Burnett hit Smith-Schuster on a pass play over the middle in the second quarter.
