Following The Authors of Pain debuting on the WWE main roster, the group ditched their former manager Paul Ellering, who was with the team during their time in NXT.
Following the Ellering split from The Authors, there were rumors that Ellering was removed from the group as he did not want to do all the traveling which comes with the main roster call-up.
PWInsider.com, however, recently reported there is no truth to the idea that Ellering did not want to travel, and the split was done as WWE wanted him to remain in NXT to help develop younger talents.
