A new report by the Wrestling Observer Radio has provided some more insight into why WWE opted to reject Luke Harper’s request to be released, yet allowed Goldust to leave the company.
According to the report the reason has to do with Triple H. The Game apparently spoke with Vince McMahon to allow Dustin Rhodes to leave the company, letting him go to AEW to have a match with Cody Rhodes, yet nobody is doing the same for Harper, hence why it was rejected.
