Jeff Hardy Claims He Has Been ‘BROKEN’ After Losing U.S. Title, Triple H Comments on NXT Takeover: Wargames Tickets

At 40-years-old and more than 25 years in the business, Jeff Hardy is still living up to his moniker as the “Charismatic Enigma”. After losing the WWE United States Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura at Extreme Rules (and being kicked in the groin by a pissed off, returning Randy Orton), Hardy cut a promo on Smackdown Live saying that his heart has been “BROKEN!”

As noted, Hardy was once again attacked by Orton this Tuesday night, as “The Viper” mercilessly assaulted him, costing Jeff his rematch for the U.S. title and literally attempted to rip his ear off the side of his head. It would appear that we are heading towards either a singles match at this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, or some kind of triple threat scenario also involving Nakamura.
