WWE NXT lead commentator, Mauro Ranallo has taken to Twitter to apologize to the NXT Universe for his performance during last night’s taping.
The first TV taping of the year took place last night at Full Sail University as WWE NXT taped all of its January episodes heading into NXT Takeover: Phoenix, and of course, Ranallo was on hand to provide the voice for the show.
Even though the episodes have yet to air on the WWE Network, Ranallo took to Twitter to say that whether people like or loathe him, he prides himself on performing at the highest level and he felt that last night, he failed.
Ranallo went on to state that he knows it will come across as an excuse, but his recent car accident and other personal issues affect him more than he thought it would. Ranallo apologized and promised that he will be better.
Of course, nobody has heard the commentary yet, but knowing just how good Ranallo is, the chances are, he will still have been superb.
Like me or loathe me, I pride myself on performing my job at the highest level possible. Tonight, I failed. I know it will come across as an excuse to some but the car accident and other personal issues affected me more than I thought. I apologize to @WWENXT I WILL BE BETTER.
