WWE has added another new stipulation to the upcoming double title match at Extreme Rules, set to take place next weekend on Sunday, July 14th in Philadelphia, PA.
It was announced last week that Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, the company’s hottest power couple, will put their titles on the line in a mixed tag team match against both Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.
There was already a big stipulation added to the bout, because if Corbin and the self-proclaimed “Sassy Southern Belle” are unable to win the titles in their third go-around, the champions “will never have to see their adversaries in the ring together ever again.”
We’re not exactly sure what that entails either, but that’s the stip…
In addition, WWE has now confirmed that the mixed tag team match will now be contested under Extreme Rules. Given that Rollins has taken to bludgeoning just about everyone under the sun with a steel chair, and Evans is really into talking about that one time she punched him in the junk, we’re willing to bet some of that will come into play next Sunday in Philly.
