The NXT Championship will be on the line next month at NXT Takeover: Portland, and we won’t have to wait much longer to find out who will challenge Adam Cole in the show’s main event.
As announced by Triple H during Saturday night’s post-Worlds Collide Q&A session, the Undisputed Era’s next challenger will be revealed Wednesday night on WWE NXT on the USA Network. He also added that GM William Regal is working something “pretty epic” – let the speculation begin!
Cole won the title from Johnny Gargano in June 2019. Since then he has successfully defended the belt against Matt Riddle, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins (via DQ), Pete Dunne and Finn Balor, not to mention numerous others at NXT Live events.
