Raw's Latest Ratings Low, McMahon Appears On "Today", WWE Wants Seamstress

With Monday’s Raw scoring a 2.9 cable rating – the same number as last week – it was the first time Raw has drawn ratings below 3.0 two weeks in a row in eleven years, since October 20 and 27, 1997. Ironically, the October 20, 1997 Raw was put up on WWE 24/7 on Wednesday morning, a few hours following the ratings news.

— WWE is looking to add a seamstress to create wrestler costumes, as well as repair them. This is a contracted position as the person would have to travel to all of WWE’s television shows. The company is looking for a college diploma in men’s and women’s garment techniques, fashion design or theater production, two years experience in costume making, in-depth knowledge of fabrics, machines and the ability to deal with stress, deadlines and unforeseen situations. — WWE Chairman Vince McMahon appeared alongside Amy Robach, Al Roker and Ann Curry on NBC’s “The Today Show” this morning promoting Monday Night Raw’s 800th Episode Celebration. McMahon said this Monday’s show is a huge milestone for the company, as well as “a historical event in television,” because not too many shows have come close to airing 800 episodes.
