Original Plans For Ambrose At WrestleMania 32, Jericho's New Feud

As a result of the injury bug that has plagued WWE throughout the past several months, the originally planned card for WrestleMania 32 had to be altered quite a bit.

According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plans for Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania this year called for “The Lunatic Fringe” to work a program with Chris Jericho.

The report claims that the plans for the Ambrose-Jericho program were similar to what we saw in the Jericho-AJ Styles feud, as Ambrose and Jericho were scheduled to team up for a while before Jericho ultimately turned on him, setting up their feud.

So while injuries may have played a factor with many other matches on the card, in this instance, WWE apparently simply changed their minds on plans for Ambrose and Jericho to AJ Styles and Jericho when Styles officially joined the WWE roster back in January.

At the WWE SmackDown television tapings recently, a feud between Ambrose and Jericho was teased, so it appears WWE is finally going to do the Ambrose-Jericho program that they were originally intending to do at WrestleMania 32.
