— On tonight’s taped edition of WWE Raw, Vince McMahon (dressed as Santa Claus) made three major announcements that will take place in the future. The first announcement McMahon made was that John Cena is back on the main roster – on both WWE Raw and Smackdown.
— He also announced that next week on Raw, on New Year’s Eve, Dolph Ziggler will battle Drew McIntyre in a steel cage match. Raw is going to be taped this weekend and we’ll have spoilers ahead of the show.
— Finally, in arguably the biggest announcement and probably the worst kept secret in WWE for a while, McMahon announced that the company will be debuting Women’s Tag Team titles next year. He did not mention when that would happen, but it’s possible it could be in the WrestleMania timeframe. Women’s tag titles have long been rumored and WWE has not shied away from pushing it, often planting signs at ringside and questions from fans.
