Goldberg has already been announced for The Royal Rumble match and many other episodes of Monday Night Raw leading up to WrestleMania, but it is only recently that WWE have unveiled the build-up video that includes Goldberg playing a part in FastLane.
It had already been reported that Goldberg would be part of the Royal Rumble, FastLane and WrestleMania 33 in with his 13 WWE appearances leading up to what is rumoured to be the rematch between the WCW Legend and Brock Lesnar at the Showcase of The Immortals.
The match for Goldberg at FastLane has been rumoured to be against Roman Reigns as a way to build up both men before they head into WrestleMania, but the event doesn’t take place until March 5th which means WWE has almost two months to change their plans.
Both Roman Reigns and Goldberg are expected to have huge matches at WrestleMania, so a match between them would not be wise unless it was one where WWE decided on an ending where no winner could be awarded.
