Bayley to Begin Romantic Angle with Raw’s Corey Graves?

On this week’s edition of Raw, Bayley was interviewed about her loss to Alexa Bliss by Corey Graves. Before ending the interview, Bayley asked Graves for a hug, he agreed to give her one, and Bayley whispered “I just rubbed your back” to him. Corey Graves felt a bit awkward giving her a hug, and it was visible on television. The interview seemed innocent enough, but Bayley could be becoming quite taken with “The Savior of Misbehavior”. This was apparently all done on purpose, but where it could be leading may surprise some fans. 
Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier that he believes that WWE will have Bayley and Graves working alongside each other for the next few weeks to come. Apparently, Bayley is set to begin a romantic angle with the Raw announcer soon. The ending of the interview officially kickstarted the new kayfabe romance between the two of them. Meltzer said that the storyline will involve Bayley being deeply attracted to Graves, and he acknowledged that he believes it would be devastating to Bayley’s character. Of course, Bayley is a “hugger”, so this behavior is not too uncommon so far if they decide to change plans, but the key is in the follow-up next Monday night. 
Bayley’s career since being promoted to the main roster last year has been heavily criticized since the beginning. Whether it’s choosing to win the Raw Women’s Championship too early, or steps like this that differ from her usual portrayal, many fans have not been pleased with how she has been handled thus far. After the ‘This is Your Life’ segment failed a few weeks ago, WWE decided to end her feud with Alexa Bliss early, and get Bayley away from the title picture. Perhaps losing a Kendo Stick on a Pole match changed her somewhat (#BROKEN Bayley on the way?), and she could be turning into a whole new person.
