The dark match that took place before last night’s episode of SmackDown Live in Wilkes-Barre, PA went on the air saw The Usos defeat The Bar. The dark main event that took place after last night episode of SmackDown Live and 205 Live in Wilkes-Barre, PA went off the air saw Daniel Bryan defeat The Miz. The match featured comedy promos from both Superstars, before and during the match. The finish saw Bryan trick The Miz with a hug before turning on him.
Next Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live will feature SmackDown General Manager Paige announcing The SummerSlam opponent for The WWE Champion AJ Styles. There is no word yet on who Styles may be facing but it looks like the feud with Rusev is over. Next week’s episode of SmackDown Live will also feature Becky Lynch vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella in a non-title match. Becky will earn a SummerSlam title shot if she wins. Carmella will get another Mellabration for her Extreme Rules win over Asuka if she beats Becky.
