The efforts of activists working to save the Aarey Forest in Mumbai have suffered a major blow as the Bombay High Court dismissed a PIL challenging a Mumbai Metro car shed on 33 hectares of land at Aarey Colony in Goregaon.
The HC bench of Justices S C Dharmadhikari and P D Naik dismissed the petition filed by Amrita Bhattacharjee and others from the Aarey Conservation Group.
