What channel is Alabama vs. Auburn on today? Time, schedule for the Iron Bowl 2019 | Sporting News

The 2019 edition of the Iron Bowl is here as No. 5 Alabama takes on archrival No. 15 Auburn on Saturday.

The Crimson Tide (10-1, 6-1 SEC) are still battling for a shot at the College Football Playoff despite their loss to No. 1 LSU just a few weeks ago. Alabama will also be without star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for the second straight week after he suffered a season-ending hip injury in the team’s win over Mississippi State on Nov. 16.

The Tigers (8-3, 4-3 SEC) are looking to play spoiler and knock the Tide out of the playoff conversation for good. It hasn’t been the season Auburn fans had been hoping for thus far. After a 5-0 start, the team’s struggled alternating wins and losses over its last six games. Auburn’s lost each of its three games by nine points or fewer, so the Tigers have a knack for keeping things close. Couple that with home-field advantage and Auburn should make things interesting for coach Nick Saban and co. on Saturday,

This is the sixth Iron Bowl to feature both ranked teams in the last 10 seasons. Alabama’s won four of the last five matchups, including last season in Tuscaloosa, Ala., 52-21. Overall, the Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 46-36-1.
