While they are away from all the turmoil and tensions, their heart is not. For the Kashmiri diaspora living outside the state, the present time is tough. With telecom connectivity shutting down after Article 370 was modified, the biggest nightmare is to remain clueless about life back home. And they are living it every moment. For them it is about survival and keeping faith that amidst what is happening, everything will be fine – their parents, children and friends will be safe.
But what is making matters worse is how the state has been virtually cut-off from the rest of the country in the name of ‘integration’.
For nearly four days now, since the additional troops were moved in, in the name of ‘credible information on the terror attack on Amarnath yatra’ the state has been on the edge.
