Well hello there, Bella Hadid! The 19-year-old has been named GQ’s Model of the Year, and she looked every bit the part while accepting the award during GQ’s Men of the Year celebration in London Tuesday night.
Hadid stunned in a custom champagne Bardot gown by Hugo Boss with a plunging neckline that complemented both her lithe physique and caramel skin tone. A daring, thigh-high slit showed off her mile-long legs, which were further accentuated by a pair of strappy gold heels. She accessorized her look with a glittery diamond choker and a collection of cocktail rings, and wore her long brown hair down and parted in the middle.
Hadid was visibly shocked by the honor, and claimed she was “having a heart attack a little bit” as she took the stage to accept her Model of the Year award from fellow model, Ashley Graham. With her award in hand, the gorgeous teen paid tribute to her mother (and her date for the night!), former model and reality star, Yolanda Foster. “This is the first time my mom has been out of bed in four years and got her hair and makeup done and I’m so happy she’s here,” she told the crowd, referencing her mother’s public battle with Lyme Disease.
