Chief Executive Officer of Hugo Boss’ U.S. business Tony Lucia has left the company for personal reasons. Lucia started in this position in 2002 and is said to have left for personal reasons.
Earlier this year the company’s longtime CEO Bruno Salzer exited the company after reported disputes with new owner Permira, a private-equity firm. Also this year, CFO Joachim Reinhardt has left Hugo Boss, because of ‘differences of opinion regarding the implementation of the company’s growth strategy’.

Salzer has been replaced as CEO by Claus-Dietrich Lahrs as of August 1, 2008. Until recently, Lahrs was managing director of Christian Dior Couture.
Hugo Boss reported a net loss of 6.1 million euros, or $9.5 million, in the second quarter of 2008 on a 9 percent rise in sales to 321.1 million euros, or $502 million. Men’s wear sales gained 8.3 percent in the quarter, and women’s wear was up 15.4 percent. Revenues in the Americas edged up 3.2 percent.
