The Giants have a great Week 7 matchup for fantasy football purposes as they host the fast-paced, defensively challenged Cardinals. That means the status of Saquon Barkley and his teammates Evan Engram and Sterling Shepard have a big effect on waiver pickups, rankings, and start ’em, sit ’em decisions for Week 7 fantasy lineups. Barkley and Engram look to be closer to returning, but Shepherd is reportedly a long way off. Even with Patrick Peterson’s return, you’ll want all three of these guys in your fantasy lineups come Sunday if they’re active.

Is Saquon Barkley playing in Week 7?
Barkley practiced Monday for the Giants as he works his way back from a high-ankle sprain. He already had taken limited part in practice before Thursday Night Football in Week 6. SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano said that Barkley has “a chance” to play Sunday against the Cardinals.
Barkley would run all over Arizona if he plays. He also tweeted a hype video last weekend accompanied by the four words, “I’ll be back soon.” Saquon’s obviously feeling good, so hopefully the Giants let him hit the field in Week 7. He’s No. 1 in our standard RB and PPR RB rankings this week.

When will Evan Engram be back??
Vacchiano bunched Engram in with the same classification as Barkley on Monday, saying he has “a chance” to play Sunday. Engram practiced Monday as he works his way back from a knee injury that forced him to miss the Giants’ Week 6 loss to the Patriots.
Engram is the best tight end for anyone that owns him, and as soon as he returns, he’s also an auto-start for fantasy. That’s amplified with the dream TE matchup in Week 7 against the Cardinals. He’s our top-ranked TE.

Sterling Shepard injury update
Vacchiano’s read on Shepard’s return from a concussion is less confident than the two above, as he called Shepard a “long shot” to play Sunday against the Cardinals. Shepard sustained his second concussion of the season in Week 5. He did participate in individual drills Monday.
WEEK 7 DFS LINEUPS:
Y! cash | Y! GPP | DK cash | DK GPP | FD cash | FD GPP
With Patrick Peterson back from suspension, Shepard would face the toughest individual matchup of this trio in Week 7. His absence would continue to make Darius Slayton the Giants’ top outside wide receiver, while Golden Tate would continue to work inside and look to build on his six-catch.102-yard, one-TD performance from Thursday.
