When a fighter as dominant as Anthony Joshua is finally set to make his long-awaited U.S. debut, it calls for some music.
Casanova and producer Jingle Jared have done just that. The pair teamed up with DAZN to create an original anthem for DAZN’s ’40 Days: Joshua-Ruiz’ – a behind-the-scenes series documenting the final weeks leading up to the heavyweight title fight between unified world heavyweight champion Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. on June 1 at Madison Square Garden.

The track is titled “Forged in Steel” and serves as the opening theme song for the show.
“Professional sports is a big passion point when it comes to Jingle Punks,” Jingle Jared, President of Jingle Punks, said. “DAZN has presented us a huge opportunity to create our song ‘Forged In Steel.’ Casanova is one of the realest artists out there at the moment, so I was immediately excited to collaborate.”
Produced by rapper Meek Mill and Roc Nation, ’40 Days’ is a three-part series with its final episode debuting May 29. NBC Sports will premiere a special final edition of “40 Days” on June 1st.
Joshua (22-0, 21 KOs) will put his WBA (Super), IBF and WBO championship belts on the line for the first time since his September victory over Alexander Povetkin by way of seventh-round TKO.
Ruiz (32-1, 21 KOs) will be fighting just barely a month since defeating Alexander Dimitrenko by way of a corner stoppage between the fifth and sixth rounds.
