Premier League side Southampton have made an approach for Lille attacker Sofiane Boufal, according to L’Équipe.
The Saints have been following the player closely and have now formally enquired with Lille in order to be quoted a price.
For the moment they have yet to make an offer. Boufal’s agent recently claimed that he had held a meeting with Barcelona to discuss his client’s future.
Lille will sell for between €25m and €30m.
