Italian international and PSG central midfielder Marco Verratti will have to fight for his place in the starting XI next season, with the club deciding that he has been given far too easy a ride in the last 24 months, according to RMC.
The final straw was his terribly stupid red card against Real Madrid in the Champions’ League recently, and PSG’s hierarchy have decided to give him less privileges in the coming campaign. This will undoubtedly coincide with the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, who is known for his rigour and meticulous approach to all aspects of his job.
