Speaking in an interview with Canal Plus, Manchester United central midfielder Paul Pogba was asked about potentially moving to PSG, but was pretty firm in his rebuttal.
“We know that people like to debate these things. “Oh my God, did you see Pogba was at the Eiffel Tower, he is coming to PSG!” No. I am visiting, this is my first time here (the interview took place in the Eiffel Tower). I am a tourist here. I grew up, my father was a Parisian, but he supported Marseille. My mum supported Marseille. So PSG was not really in my daily life. Why not one day play at the Parc des Princes? It is a nice pitch & a nice stadium.”
