Speaking to RMC Sport, Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes discussed his side’s 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich.
“We can have regrets about the opening 15 minutes, we could have been 2-0 up. You pay for it after that. They know how to give everything. We hoped to go all the way. They caused us problems down the sides. They recovered the ball quite quickly. We are not going to give up on what we succeeded in creating, this squad can be proud of what it has done. We are going to try to have a truly great season, we will only have the league by advancing altogether like we have done in the last two months. We need to keep this mentality. We have to keep this spirit. If we continue to have this spirit, we can go very far in terms of the league.”
