Marseille have confirmed the departure of Serbian winger Nemanja Radonjic, on loan with an obligation to buy dependent on the number of appearances that he makes, to Benfica for the 2021/22 campaign.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Hertha Berlin but was not in Jorge Sampaoli’s plans for the future – the number of matches required to activate the buy clause is unknown, but the clause is believed to be worth between €7m and €10m.
