Lorient and Saint-Étienne enquire for Lens’ Ignatius Ganago

Foot Mercato report this afternoon that Lens forward Ignatius Ganago has been the subject of interest from Lorient and Saint-Étienne, with the relegation-threatened Ligue 1 sides enquiring over his availability.

Currently on international duty with Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations, Ganago had been linked to Newcastle earlier this week.

The two Ligue 1 sides had enquired over the possibility of a six-month loan. However, the 22-year-old is considered an important part of Franck Haise’s attacking rotation, and the Sang et Or have no intention of letting go of him mid-season.
