As reported by Le10Sport, Ligue 1 club Troyes, supported by the City Group, are interested in signing relegated Bordeaux’s starlet forward Sekou Mara.
The emergence of the 19-year-old striker was one of very few bright spots in a disastrous season for the club who finished bottom of Ligue 1, conceding the most goals in Europe’s top five leagues in the process, before financial issues saw them dropped to the third division by the authorities. The sale of Mara could be the best way for the club to make up a deficit in their finances to appease French football’s strict financial watchdog, the DNCG.
Manchester City, who lead the City Group, have been scouting the teenager who scored five goals in four games at the end of the season in Ligue 1 while Monaco and Lyon are both interested too, with a €10m offer possible.

Troyes, however, have been intensifying their interest in the player in recent days while the player has stated he would be open to leaving Bordeaux this summer.
