After having passed his medical, Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech (29)has reportedly arrived at Paris Saint-Germain’s HQ in order to sign the final documents to complete his loan move to the French capital, this is according to L’Équipe du Soir.
The Moroccan international was pushing for Chelsea to facilitate his loan move to the PSG before the transfer window deadline closes in several hours’ time.
The two clubs remained in talks throughout the day, with the Moroccan international having been identified by PSG as Pablo Sarabia’s replacement after the Spanish midfielder’s departure for Wolves earlier that month.
Ziyech, who was short of game time in West London, directly intervened in the negotiations, having told the Chelsea management to be more flexible with their terms.
The former Ajax man had made just short of a century of appearances for the Blues since his arrival in 2020, but had only featured ten times in the Premier League that season and was yet to find the net. Ziyech emerged as an option in the wake of PSG’s attempts to sign Lyon midfield prospect Rayan Cherki, with ex-Bordeaux winger Malcom also being a target.
