Researchers have described a novel high-performance anticorrosive coating from an agro-industrial byproduct. In a recently conducted work, an epoxy resin produced from an agroindustrial byproduct, cashew nutshell liquid (CNSL), was used for manufacturing a one-component anticorrosive epoxy coating.
